Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 11 AMβ8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Romo's Pizza at (518) 449-5871; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is romospizzany.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Can't judge the atmosphere but my husband (who is picky) swears its very cute in here. The food though.. 10/10 without a second thought. We got the motza sticks.. Absolutely delicious, properly breaded and long (as in my opinion it should be), buffalo garlic parm wings.. 10000000/10 absolutely a must try, clearly they even do their own blue cheese to pair with it (which is chefs kiss delicious) pizza, 10/10 TRUE NY style, garlic nots, huge but delicious and properly coated in butter, garlic and parm. We have a new favorite pizza spot and we will definitely make the 40 minute drive to enjoy it again and again!

Originally, my husband and I tried to go to lunch on Fatherβs Day but found after making the 45 mins drive that they were closed due to a private party and only had patio seating for to-go orders. Nowhere was this posted on social media. We didnβt get a to-go order as the patio area was small and crowded. Fast forward to today, my husband and I decided to try again and went to lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This time the dinning area was open. We were seated promptly and our waiter came over to greet us and took our drink order, we also submitted our appetizer order. When he came back we put in a pizza order. We finished our appetizer and sat waiting for about 25 minutes when our waiter came over and said our pizza would be out shortly. Next thing we know he came back and said you did order a pizza right? We confirmed that yes we did and what it was. We saw him go back to the kitchen he then came back and said we were all set. We werenβt sure if that meant the order was almost done like he originally said or if he meant he just put it in at that point. We didnβt see him again to be able to clarify. We sat waiting for over a half hour at which point when the hostess cam

Their award-winning pizza is amazing! The garlic knots were really good too. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely like to try their other styles of pizza. Everything that comes out of the kitchen looks fantastic. I would recommend calling ahead and making reservations. We went on a Friday night and waited 40 minutes for a table. It was well worth the wait. I Highly recommend.

Made the trip off the thruway to try Romoβs. It is only a 15 minute detour. Absolutely worth it. Pizza was delicious. It is 8.0 for sure. Cookies are great too.

From the reviews and the prices, I was looking forward to a proper classic pizza restaurant. What we got foodwise was the most unremarkable takeout joint ever. The sandwiches are good, the Italian on the lower end of mediocre. Pizza was not flavorful. I've certainly had LESS flavorful pizzaβat least there was sauce hereβbut it was nothing I'd ever buy again. Not worth the calories in the slightest. There was a wonderful aroma of garlic... but I couldn't detect any hint of the flavor when actually eating it. There was nothing bad about the sauce, but also nothing I'd write home about, let alone recommend. Again, not tasteless. but unflavorful. The crust had an odd flavor. I couldn't tell of it was bad dough or if they'd attempted to infuse herbs, but if it was deliberate the flavors just did not come together. Baking of the crust was mediocre as well, the kind of chewy crust that doesn't bite cleanly and you have to kind of tear at. It is very difficult to get the flavors of a pizza to come together into that "pizza magic" and not simply taste like the separate components of cheese, sauce, and bread... and Romo's just does not manage it. But they charge like they do, wh
